Sr. ASP .NET MVC Developer Position

Overview

Advanced Plan For Health is seeking to attract a top performing Sr. ASP .NET MVC Developer who will help them expand their healthcare data analytics solution. This person will be involved in all aspects of development, including project estimate, design, testing and deployment. He/she will be responsible for developing web-based software (based on business requirements) and will support, maintain and enhance existing web applications.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain application using Microsoft .NET technologies
  • Write clean, scalable code using .Net programming languages
  • Support, maintain and enhance existing web applications
  • Troubleshoot and optimize applications
  • Involve in all aspects of development, including project estimate, design, develop, testing and deployment
  • Provide technical support for the development and programming of a healthcare application
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation
  • Report to VP of Application Development

Experience

The Developer will have experience in developing web applications using HTML5, JQuery, JavaScript and CSS and will be familiar with the Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures, indexes and ability to tune queries. Other experience requirements include:

• 5+ years of software development experience
• 4+ years of experience developing ASP .NET MVC with C#
• 2+ years of experience with Entity Framework
• Experience in healthcare, particularly claims data, helpful
• Experience with GIT a plus

Skill Set

  • Must be analytical, solution-oriented, and possess excellent trouble shooting and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in groups to effectively participate in the software development lifecycle
  • Flexible to ensure off hours support

Education

The candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college/university.
